Very disappointed by After sales care after car purchase
I bought a Mercedes CLK 240 from Country Cars in November. The engine management light came on 3 hours after I had picked it up. Got back in touch with them and they told me to wait and see if it goes off. (Hmm!).. I took it to an independent mercedes specialist and had a diagnostic report done which show all the problems. I returned the car to them for them to do the repairs, they had it for a week and tried to return it to me without doing all the repairs. Because I moaned, I was given a dirty, greasy Renault Clio as a 'courtesy car' and it broke down and had to be recovered back to the garage. They return the car to me, saying they couldn't find the fault with the lambda sensor. After having the car back a day, light came on again and the car was juddering. Contacted them again and said taking it to the mercedes specialis again and Country need to pay. That day the car broke down on the motorway, oil was pouring out of it. I have returned the car and demanded a refund. Worst after care service
