Miss leading Sales pitch and equally poor car preparation
A week ago I enquired about a used Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport LE (2011).
I spoke with a man called Junior, who was polite and courteous. He explained that the car was in excellent condition and a must see. He also added that a service and the timing chain and water pump replacement would be carried out. Furthermore, some scratches to the boot would be taken care of as well. I asked that as I was planning to travel a long distance, were there any other defects I should be aware of. He told me that the car car was in great shape, mechanically and body work wise. So, I left a deposit and agreed to view with regard to purchasing.
Today I travelled over 150 miles to view the car.
On arrival, I was greeted by Junior, who directed me to the car and left me to look around it. I immediately spotted many areas of the passenger side trim, front and back, that had large gaps and bad alignment. I then just touched the rear passenger side door trim and it just simply fell off.
