Complete crooks

Bought a Mazda 3 just two weeks ago from this lot with a one-month warranty. They agreed to MOT the car at a local garage prior to purchase and it came back clean with no advisories: all good so far. On the car's first outing, however, the exhaust broke at the back box: completely rotted through! I phoned Kingsgate to explain the problem and ask whether I should just take the car to Kwik Fit and send him the bill. He got really shirty and claimed exhausts are not covered by their warranty as they can be ''damaged by the likes of speed bumps''...I've never heard of a speed bump causing an exhaust to be rotted right through! . He then told me to take it up with the garage that MOT'd the car for him! Completely disinterested in my plight and became quite aggressive. Going to pursue via small claims court. Have already reported the MOT station to VOSA. Guy is a really nasty piece of work: avoid at all costs (literally!)
