Beware Rogues!

Beware these guys are rogues! They will take your money, sell you a car that has major engine faults, then disappear. The two companies associated with Motorhouse (Birmingham) are, Trade Car Sales Birmingham Limited and Ashwood Sports and Performance Limited. The owners will likely use English names to disguise themselves (Adam, Tony etc). They have apparently ceased trading at the 32 Coventry Street address and a new company Second City Autosales Limited, has now started trading from the address. There are also a number of other companies that may be associated with them. Motor House Birmingham Limited es in the name) based at 40 Upper Gough Street B1 1JL (this address was the trading address on the www.tradecarsalesbirmingham.co.uk website between 2011 and Sept 2012) note the website was taken down around the 05/10/16, however archived copies can be found by using the Wayback Machine website. Got a Landrover discovery got told it was perfect working order full mot everything so put trust in them to deliver with out viewing as was on eBay once arrived they wouldn’t get car off trailer til money was in there hand they took car of trailer and drove off I went in to drive the auto gear box/torque was broke wouldn’t set of wouldn’t go in gear key fob smashed so wouldn’t work or lock doors e

Just NO!

Ive had my car a week and its in with the main dealer, not only have hoses and leads been left flapping around in the engine bay and burnt i also found studs broken off around the exhaust manifold (im no mechanic, so the health check they claimed it had was fabricated) and to top it off the driveshaft has gone, steering rack and powersteering pump have gone along witht the possibility of replacin

Appalling service, ripped off on car that was not roadworthy an

Having bought a car from them with a clean MOT and service (apparently) i had trouble within a week of buying and my local garage said there is no way that should have passed any mot, no sign of a service being down and was unsafe to drive to say the least. Ripped off

Part exchanged a car with these guys, car I bought with brand new mot and no advisories. Yet when I get home the tracking is a mile out and tires are worn inside edges which would have been picked up by any competent tester. No solution from them. 2 weeks later, issue with gearbox and apparently I didn't want the warranty and that the car I part exchanged was not sellable so they scrapped it

Full of BS

I would stay clear. Enquired about a part ex. Was offered an insulting price for my car against a car that I knew they had bought for a steal a day earlier with a significant increase on the screen. When challenged denied that it was even the same car. Diabolical. Needless to say I walked away gladly.

Very Good Service

Very good, no hard sell, friendly. My sons first car and it is exactly what it said in the advert. Very quick and efficient customer service. The guys delivered the car and were really friendly and appologetic for being late as they'd been stuck in road works on M5. I'd definately recommend and buy from them again!
