Horrible experience with North Star Sayers Common. Buy without confidence!

Terrible firm, we had multiple things go wrong very shortly after we bought the car and North Star refused to fix them. We were told that we could only complain through the managing Director Mark Buckle, who refused to put things right, and was arrogant and condescending in his dealings with us. We spent our hard earned money buying a car from North Star, believing that we could 'Buy With Confidence' but in our experience their whole philosophy is geared towards avoiding customer support and aftercare, not promoting it. The warranty that they gave us was pretty useless; it was very easy for a clever chap like Mark Buckle to find reasons for excluding pretty much everything, for example with our second hand car he liked to quote 'fair wear and tear' as a reason to exclude the defects. We would not recommend North Star to anyone, simply because we would not wish them to have the same bad experience as us if anything goes wrong with the car.

It is very unfortunate that we cannot identify this vehicle or customer from information supplied. We do not have a 'Jays' Family sale recorded.

However, as much as we endeavour to serve every customer to their satisfaction I am afraid it is not always possible to agree with every demand or wish made of us.

I can say WITHOUT DOUBT that we do not have any issue with honouring our warranties or the consumer law.

We have not got any advices from Trading Standards that we are not, or have not upheld our responsibilities.

Great Service
