Former repeat customer. Now a warning to others.
I am writing this as someone who has previously given this dealership my business. Sadly, that history now means nothing to them — and I will never return here again. The mentality of this dealership has changed drastically, and not for the better.
Before travelling, I had two separate phone conversations with sales staff and discussed a £300 reduction on a car priced around £22,000. On that basis, I drove nearly 2 hours with my family, trusting what had been discussed.
What we were shown was completely unacceptable:
Battery SOH below normal for the car’s age and mileage (serious concern for any EV buyer)
4 visible dents
Multiple paint chips across the bonnet, with paint missing entirely in places
Given these clear defects, I reasonably raised the price discussion. I was then told a second salesman had to approve it and was made to wait almost an hour for him to arrive.
When he finally turned up, his answer was blunt, dismissive, and final: no reduction — not even £1.
