Unbelievably bad experience with this company

Truly terrible experience with this company that you should be aware of before buying from them. In February 2026 I spent £30k for a quality SUV hybrid after a very nice salesman looked after us well and offered the car we were looking for that was just in and not listed. It was promised to us valeted, fully charged and with a full tank of diesel when we were to pick it up.

That had to be 2 weeks later because cars sold must go off site the same month. We took a long train journey up to the site (Peterborough) The car was not valeted, fuelled up or had any charge in the hybrid battery. Having no other option we took the car. Only with one key because the other was likely to follow as the car was so new in.

Two days after the 150mile drive home the engine management light came on. I’d arranged a post purchase inspected with an independent Mercedes specialist so took the car to them to diagnose. It was a Solenoid fault relating to cooling of the lithium batteries. £540 to fix, and should be covered under wa

Two tyres faulty, like pulling teeth!
Flagged tyre pressure issue on test drive in Norwich, was told the mechanics checked it before we left so drove home (2.5hrs away) and 15 mins down the road a warning light came on saying “tyre pressure sensor malfunction”. Logged this immediately on their app, this was 4 weeks ago now and still no resolution. Was then told to go to a Halfords autocentre for a tyre check. This came back with a

Good experience
We had a good experience with Big Motoring so far. We bought our dream car with their help. The car is still perfect after more de 6 months. So far we have no complaints. When we bought the car every employee was very nice with us, answered every question we had, explained the process very well. We were very happy with our sales guy, very passionate, nice and helpful.

I purchased a vehicle on 17.08.24. On the 22.08.24 it broke down. The vehicle was covered by a 3 month warranty. The warranty company arranged a tow truck and asked me to take it to my local garage. I took the car to the only garage which accepted warranty work and had immediate availability to look at the car. Garage confirmed the car needed a starter motor. Warranty company offer to pay 40% of t
