Avoid at all costs!!
Hi, I bought my car from Dunstable branch of A5 cars direct. Sales man took me for a 2min test drive, told me i can't drive it on the road because of new law blah blah blah... They took my car as a p/x and i was happy to pay and go. I was happy for about 5 miles then engine light went off. I called A5 and they told me to go to the garage in luton and they will fix all at no cost. Cool i thought, so drove to the garage, guys reset the computer, job done. Again happy. Well not for long, car lost power, engine light flashing. Went back to the garage just to be told that injector is failing, leak of oil from the bottom of the engine, car idling badly and loud so i need to get back to a5 left a car in Dunstable and asked for hire car. They gave me the keys to my old car saying that at least i know this car won't let me down like i said when p/x ing. Jokers. 2 days later I went to see my car, maybe it was fixed but she wasn't there. A5 took it back to Dunstable as in the garage was no space go keep it and they will drop the car back next day when the parts come in. Next day i went to mechanic to see if its there but no, again called A5 to hear that they experience staff shortage. So I went there to get it. When I asked for my car, salesman went on the yard to pick it up for me. I went out to see where they kept it and I couldn't believe it was again on sale with the keyes inside, unlocked free for all to test it. When I asked what is going on, was told that it was just parked and ready for my collection. Ok, took it back to luton's garage and was told they will call me when fixed. It is nearly 3 weeks now. Mechanic said that they ordered wrong parts TWICE from ebay. They are going to use second hand parts to fix it but can't find the right one. Today he told me that A5 don't want to pay for repair at all! Today I checked hire car from them just to find out that there is no road tax on it. Still waiting for my log book as well.
