Buyer Beware!

6 months (06/10/22) since my cash purchase of a BMW 420D M-Sport from Sam at Bury (who had promised me a Jaguar XE R-Sport but sold it to someone else the day before I went to buy it) and there has still not been a single day when this vehicle has been in the condition as it was advertised (and still is advertised on the web). Cartime finally agreed to fix the faulty CD/DVD player last month, an issue that was faulty since purchase and raised with them last year along with incorrect mileage (less miles on pick-up day substantiated with photographs than on the two previous MOTs, on the Invoice and on the Pre-Delivery Check that they have tried to say was undertaken 8 months before I purchased it ... Pre-Delivery - really ...???), a faulty & flat battery, no second key as advertised (check the website), no service history on the iDrive (despite it being there on the advert photos), a non-functioning Sat Nav (again, advertised as working), a faulty Stop/Start function - not even any dust caps on any of the tyres

This could have been a 5 star rating if not for the sales guy (Suhaib) who I bought my car through. Don’t buy car from them
Car time sold that car with too many issues which was really hard for me to find out on test drive. I’m trying my best to explain all the issues below: 1. The Car was sold with 90% DPF blocked. They sell modified cars - Don't Buy
I was sold a modified BMW car without any information. If I could give cartime no stars I would do. Bought my car 9th March only to find out it did have a fault on it as I told them. We are now at the end of September and I'm still waiting for a refund as I took my case up with the financial ombudsman. Fab!
We traded in our little old banger for a Mini Cooper and couldn't fault the service. We did point out a few bits of work that needed doing, but that was all sorted before we collected the car. We got a great deal and couldn't be happier - we've already recommended one of our best friends who is picking up their new car next week :)
