Don’t buy car from them



Car time sold that car with too many issues

which was really hard for me to find out on test drive. I’m trying my best to explain all the issues below:

1. The Car was sold with 90% DPF blocked. DPF blocked warning signs came on just after few weeks of buying the car.

Car time sent my car to few different places to find the problem as they couldn’t find anything. One of the garage was in proper jungle and it’s called Steve in Rochdale and they advised to replace the DPF.

I was so much worried as MOT Failed on emissions. Finally Car time replaced the DPF but they got USED DPF from scrap yard which a dealer should not do ( I found this from a technician called STUART). Dealer must always use new part.

Even one day one of the technician took my car in his house in Burnley for overnight. I tracked my car and found it.However, I did not say anything that time as long as my car runs fine but I wasn't very happy on repair. Altogether it took 2/3 months to fix this issue.

I was sold a modified BMW car without any information. If I could give cartime no stars I would do. Bought my car 9th March only to find out it did have a fault on it as I told them. We are now at the end of September and I'm still waiting for a refund as I took my case up with the financial ombudsman. Fab!
We traded in our little old banger for a Mini Cooper and couldn't fault the service. We did point out a few bits of work that needed doing, but that was all sorted before we collected the car. We got a great deal and couldn't be happier - we've already recommended one of our best friends who is picking up their new car next week :)
