Don’t. Just don’t, go elsewhere.

GL1 Car Sales repeatedly misrepresented the condition and correct operation of the vehicle. They breached the time limit they themselves imposed on our contract and then refused to return our deposit. When we allowed them more time the rectify the issues they again failed to satisfactorily fulfil those terms. In order to mitigate for their failures and satisfy ourselves as to the condition of the vehicle (we had lost confidence in GL1 Car Sales), we asked to arrange an independent vehicle inspection, they withheld permission for us to arrange an independent vehicle inspection (in breach of their AA Sales terms), then gave us a 3-day ultimatum to collect the vehicle (after we had allowed them additional time after failing to meet the terms of their own contract).

If you have had issues with this company, report it to AA Complaints; we did, but AA would not take action on a ‘first’ reported offence.

In short don’t, just don’t. Go elsewhere.

Appalling service
My son had been in contact with this dealer and had booked a test drive and had been communicating with him about a particular car. My son took a train from another part of the UK to get to Gloucester and when he contacted him at the train station (someone at the dealer agreed to collect him) he was informed that the car was sold. Please do not purchase from this garage. We were sold an absolute wreck of a car which we ended up scrapping within a couple of months because it was in such a bad state, and 3 mechanics had said it was not worth repairing as there was so many issues. Get every single thing that comes out of their mouths in writing. Every promise of guarantees, money back, repairs, warranties, ect ect take ABSOLUTELY NOTHING they say as any kind of security for your purchase as the second they have your money you are doomed. Definitely not AA Approved, Bad Dealer
The vehicle I purchased from GL1 is unsafe to drive and has suspension issues. The dealer refused my legal right for a refund and they wouldn't repair the vehicle for me.
