Avoid at all costs

Appalling. Salesman is your best friend until the deal is done. The three month warranty "only covers breakdowns" despite Sale of Goods Act requiring him to repair any defects. My car had a timing chain problem which he tried to insist was BMW's problem to fix. Once it actually broke down, it took him 6 weeks to get a new engine fitted (he claimed it was other people's problem and 'was on holiday' for most of the time, not bothering to have his company chase things up for me) which then promptly overheated.

When I tried to have the car returned under the Sale of Goods Act (as is my right under the law) he refused, he argued back and forward with my solicitor that me exercising my legal rights was 'inappropriate' and then started reporting that his business 'had no money' when I got close to actually taking him to court.

I never successfully returned the car, still have it, and it is still causing me problems. The man plays nice until he has your money, but then doesn't want to know when the products he sells have major problems.

Avoid at all costs.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! HS Cars Ltd / HS Motors
We purchased a car which was delivered to Scotland for us. On delivery the engine management light was on. We phoned Ash straight away and got assurances that all was fine and to take it to a garage to have it checked. We did this at more expense to ourselves which Ash stated he would cover…. Still waiting on monies for this. We were assured that any engine light issues would be covered by H S Mot

They are nice to your face when you are there and promise any faults will be fixed before delivery. But after delivery found car not fit for purpose as oil warning lights and messages showing on dash first day I drove it. I have had to pay over £1600 to have a new oil pump, timing chain and timing chain cover fitted to car that cost me over £3000. At first replied to my messages advising I had to

Bought a car for my partner's 80 year old father, who has diabetes, and the fuel tank is leaking and shows signs of a bad repair. Went back to Ash at HS Motors to tell him, he put the phone down and blocked me. He was very helpful before the sale but now won't even speak to me. I'm claiming my payment back through my bank, and will raise a small courts claim if that doesn't work. Please avoid, he'

Dodgy dealer
Awful dealer.we thought we were more secure buying a second hand car through a dealer but this is not the case with. He said cars ltd.Mark is a bully and untrustworthy, this is a Fact- we had an investigation done by the financial ombudsman who said that the car was unfit for purpose and not as described. Thankfully we got the £2000+ repair bill back from the credit card.
