When I bought my car I found out despite supplying it with a full MOTthat the reversing light was not working. The bulbs had blown and as I took pictures of the car before driving it out of the forecourt I could see it was delivered like that. This means either the dealer changed the lights just for the MOT then changed them back again or they blew before collection and did nothing about it. They were contracted to provide windscreen wipers and fitted some used ones and told me to go and buy new. They were contracted to service the car but failed to make some basic repairs. Now I know why one of the staff was smirking when I drive the car out. Why is it the enormous government is incapable of granting the consumer the most basic protection by legislating to force all dealers to sell cars only that have to be up to date with servicing to manufacturers specifications ?

Refused to meet basic consumer rights
I recently purchased a family car from this garage mainly down to the good review. Unfortunately the car had many faults rendering it unsafe, these were confirm by a local independent garage. Hi I purchased my VW Passat about a month ago from Justin at Martlesham car centre He was very help full, nothing was to much trouble. He even helped me tax the car. I noticed a side light had blown about a week after I got the car. I called in and they changed it for me I would definitely use them again. I cant understand the negative reviews, perhaps they've improved..
Poor customer service allmost criminal
Bought a car last October it was with a full MOT when my wife brought it home I had alook at the breaks the front disks were so badly corroded I was able to break a piece off one off them I complained and they said they would go half with me I threatened to go to trading standards and they agreed to cover the full cost of repair.
