Purchase of Vehicle

My present review is all positive of this company. I am not a car trader and not a regular purchaser of vehicles but have been looking for a quality 3 year old car for some time. It is also notable that I have never carried out business with this company prior to me looking at this car. My first impressions of the company were through car sites such as CARGURU, AUTOTRADER, MOTORS etc. My eyes tell me the truth and I found that a vehicle I was looking to purchase was available, it was at the right price in comparison to other companies. The difference and why I continued with Sterling Performance was the way the product was initially displayed on the internet and then too me at the business premises. The internet gave me plenty of good quality photographs, and a fair description of the vehicle. I did park the purchase for a few days whilst I did some research on the company and then telephoned them for a viewing. I was impressed at how friendly and helpful the team were. Avoid at all costs.

These people are virtually criminals. Between purchase and delivery, they swapped the gearbox on an otherwise perfect low milealge car I bought from for a completely worn out one and damaged the underneath of the vehicle while doing so. I'm out of pocket for thousands.

Tried to sell me a clocked car

These disgraceful people tried to sell me a clocked top end car - luckily I did my due diligence and found out from manufacturer the irregularity. They then pretending to be shocked and yet still sold it to someone else without disclosing. Trading standards have opened a case on this shady outfit.

do not trust this person. They clean car and engine to look nice. If you buy make sure he give you warranty. Do not trust!!!! My bmw broke down and i need to rebuild engine with cost me 1500. Big liar!

Agreed a deal then reneged on it. Terrible customer focus.

I agreed a deal on an M5, had the finance in place, cancelled the registration on my existing vehicle ready to swap to the new M5. Then I get an email (not even a call!) from an alleged salesman stating that they sold the vehicle the day before. Knowing full well the status of our agreed sale / deal as the salesperson was copied in on all correspondence relative to the deal. CLOWNS. Dishonest.

Dont under any circumstance buy from them.

Have reported them to Trading Standards and proceeding with court action. Car was Dangerous to drive and the P.D.I meant nothing . Once they had the money they did not care.

Excellent service !

I purchased a lovely second hand Maserati Quattroporte at sterling performance Hayes and experienced great communication, great aftercare and generally impeccable service. They made everything very straightforward and the process was painless.
