Do Not Buy From Car People

I purchased a vehicle from Car People in Wakefield recently. During sales negotiations I raised a number of issues about the vehicle to include a large dent in one of the doors and a slightly discoloured bumper. The sales adviser promised that the dent would be repaired. The sales person also advised that the car came with two keys and the sales details claimed that the car had a full service history. After taking possession of the vehicle it became clear that the dent had not been repaired properly, there was no second key and the car in fact had only 2 services in its log book out of the 4 it should have had. When these issues were raised with car people they refused to finish the dent repair in the door and claimed that I was lying about the second key (despite having a witness). They also claimed that they had never said the car had a full service history despite me being in possession of a sales document clearly claiming that the car had a full service history. Car was available promptly when test drive was arranged however that was where the favourable impression stopped.
