600miles for nothing

After contacting v12 on monday the 29/6/2015 concerning a volvo v70 with 143k on the clock, I then made arrangements during that week to drive down from lesmahagow ml11 to their premises to sign paper work and take car back to scotland. I had contacted them another three time in that week to discuss the sale and also put a £100.00 deposit down . On arrival at their site they didnt have anything put inplace and according to my calls finance was already in place and agreed. I took the car for a test drive which was fine and agreed to take the car and px my own. The first excuse was that there was no one in santander on a Saturday to deal with finance, second excuse was they might have to do paper work in the following week and deliver car to me, or me coming back down again. Which was not an option. Third excuse was that they could not get finance for a car which has done over 130k miles, although I was assured it had been all in place before my arrival. Avoid - don’t be fooled by the look (mechanically unfit)

I wouldn’t buy a car here ever again. Travelled hours to them, it’s was a very weird environment to start! Car died after 3 days of bringing it home, engine malfunction, the after sales team were an absolute nightmare to get hold of, car was sat on my driveway for over 2 weeks undriveable (under warranty) but they didn’t give two hoots. Still waiting for a refund

Hours and hours wasted trying to get refund on deposit

Impossible to obtain refund on hold deposit despite buying the car ! Called emailed etc and NOTHING! Really really annoying!
