Not great

Took an older Alfa in for a service last year. Although I asked for a specific period manufacturer service and elected for a 'while you wait' service, at the *end* of the promised waiting time I was told that they hadn't actually got the parts in for the service so it would be a lot longer before it was ready. On the plus side, they did then give me a courtesy car free of charge, but I had to keep ringing them through the day to chase progress. They did phone back after my complaint, which is good practice, although they guy I spoke to was more interested in justifying their performance (and asking me not to mark them down if Alfa called), than in actually doing anything to improve my experience as a customer. Was at least completed on the day, but on checking my paperwork in prep for this year's service I note that they didn't carry out the brake fluid change specified for that service point by Alfa. They've just now told me that all that is required is a check at that point - maybe, but that's not what the service schedule supplied with the car says. Or what any of the other sources I've looked at say. Won't be using them again if I can avoid it, as they don't seem very organised - I've had mixed experience with trying to get parts through them too - and it was mind bogglingly expensive for what it was.

Nobody spoke
I visited Wessex Mazda today with the intention of spending around £30,000 on a new 6 Estate. Despite me looking around their used stock, and the example in the showroom, no one bothered to even approach me, not even to invite me to take a seat. After waiting about 20 minutes I decided to leave, and spend my money with another sealer.

I had heard good things about Wessex Garages, and I wasn't let down when I visited the dealership to discuss my options on a new car on Motability. The sales staff were very helpful and they made the whole experience very enjoyable, thank you very much!
