Great until they have your money

So I didn’t read the reviews but wish I had first. I picked up a 2013 ford cmax diesel from this dealer which had less than 80000 miles. Having worked on fords for many years it became apparent in the first hour that the dmf was failing due to the car shaking when idling, and when driving. The biting point for the clutch was also very high. I contacted canvey chariots the same day and with little interest was told to take it to canvey carriages next door for an inspection. The mechanic there agreed that the clutch and dmf was almost gone, however on speaking to the manager Tony, Tony then abruptly told me there was nothing wrong with the car and that he would not be putting a new clutch kit in a £5grand motor. I then rejected the car there and then as they had no interest in trying to solve the issue, just told me to leave the key and they cancel the sale. Very very poor

Sorry to have to write this review however having done some research my problem is not uncommon. You should all be aware: 1) When you buy a car and they claim it is serviced to manufacturer standards this is NOT true as they failed to check technical service bulletins which are a key part of manufacturer quality servicing. I bought a Mercedes AMG from then, from the start i had issues with the Drivers seat, also Issue with the driving of the vehicle not being say, they had the vehicle back many times this went on for six months they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it. Franco and his team are very professional and knowledgeable, not pushy and honest was my experience. Good price and added warranty with servicing. Its a fact that cars can go wrong after the sale but i had no issues with a repair after 1 week and was given a courtesy car during the repair work. A credit to the whole team and industry
