Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! Just ‘cos you buy an approved used car from these guys, doesn’t mean it will be a trouble free experience. Car immediately had a reoccurring fault. So rather than take car back to JCT600 and insist on refund (a round trip of 500 miles), they instructed me to take my car to local BMW M Sport dealer which I did, for 49 days out of 6 months as the fault was so difficult to find! At no stage did JCT600 say “we want to see the car” … always said “take it to your local dealer” and being a good guy (read ‘mug’) I followed their advice. Now, when I request some form of compensation from JCT600 for all this inconvenience considering they are my contractual seller and, bearing in mind BMW UK have already contributed towards next years’ warranty, JCT600 say, well, we didn’t see the car and therefore we cannot be responsible for another dealership not be able to cure the fault on its first attempt. …….. ”BUT YOU TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP”? Creat service from Top Class Garage and Salesman

Warranty a waste of time
I bought a hyundai i30 last year. Within weeks two door handles fell off. When i took the car back they said my 8 year old boy must have pulled it too hard. Also that they dont cover external body work. About a month later the electrics went. I took took it back and oh what a surprise. This problem wasnt covered either. Diabolical service
We spent £16k on a golf TD TDI. Basically, in short, they grossly inflated the mot mileage by accident which caused untold problems. They had to fetch the car (unwillingly) & left us with a smoke filled hire car. We also bought sat nav brand new but would stake my life on it being used & from another vehicle. Total Waste of Time
Contacted JCT 600 Yeadon at 10am regarding a Honda Civic to arrange viewing and test drive. I Arrived at 12.30, entered an empty showroom save for 6 "sales executives" sat at computer stations. Poor customers service
I suggest not using this garage as they are far from being a professional outfit. I rang the sale team and expressed an interest to purchase a second hand car from them.
