dont fall for the 2nd key con

when I collected my car it was running, this was to mask the fact that the battery wouldn't hold charge, so on day 1 I had to buy a new battery (the dealer reluctantly gave me a contribution for this) Despite having a valid MOT, my car was handed to me in a non-roadworthy state, missing a wheel nut on each wheel (and a nail in the tyre - arguably this could have happened on the 10 minute drive home, but very unlikely). From what I have seen this is how the vehicle was purchased from auction. My car was checked after purchase by an independent garage who confirmed it had not had a recent oil change - which I had specifically asked about (I had to angle grind the undertray off to gain access to change the filter myself). I was also told the car only had 1 key, only to be presented with a 2nd key upon collection and charged for (I had stated I would find a 2nd key myself), which looks suspiciously like an original key - dirty and scuffed.

Rogue traders
Had an Car off Imran 2 months ago. Had to sell it because it had fault after fault. Called him 3 times in my 30 day period and he just robbed me off. Also received a letter from the police for dangerous driving and the date prior to me buying the car. Told had 2 past owners. Actually had 6. Told full service history, another lie. DO NOT BUY from him. I lost 2 grand on this car as it’s now sold. Wa

Purchase mistake
I purchased a 2010 Ford Mondeo and was told it had full service history and had just been fully serviced by them with full mot. Was also told the car was excellent with no problems and has a 3 month warranty as standard In reality I received very little paperwork and have had to replace many items in the first month including rear brake disks and pads .a battery within a week and the car was fo

Rogue traders! Do not buy cars from these people they are scamming customers and need to be stopped. They have been reported and investigations are underway from trading standards. The cars all have same description on auto trader. ALL PRESTINE CONDITION AND CREDIT TO ITS PREVIOUS OWNERS. This is a lie and most cars have a shady history and FAR FROM PRESTINE. The history on the cars is false. The
Great car, not a great experience sadly
Initially my experience was very good, checked the car over, drove the car around the block with the dealer, no speed test. Did the deal and started to drive the car home (70miles). Stopped for a break on the motorway, when I restarted the journey the car had no power or in limp mode. Got home and phoned the warranty as advised to take the warranty by the dealer. The warranty said it was down to t
