Great car, not a great experience sadly
Initially my experience was very good, checked the car over, drove the car around the block with the dealer, no speed test. Did the deal and started to drive the car home (70miles). Stopped for a break on the motorway, when I restarted the journey the car had no power or in limp mode. Got home and phoned the warranty as advised to take the warranty by the dealer. The warranty said it was down to the dealer, so contacted the dealer who advised me that it was ok when I left! Took the car to a Merc specialist who diagnosed Turbo failure(£2k) not covered by warranty (incidentally my specialist mentioned that the turbo had been tampered with). Contacted the dealer to return vehicle, who refused to accept liability, however did offer to get one of his colleagues to source a Turbo replacement. Still waiting for call to arrange to get vehicle back, decided to go locally, lesson learned, suggest an independent inspection when buying from this dealer! P.S. Company name changes often!!
